Full Story (continued)
There’s more to the story.
From teaching and entrepreneurship to tennis, publishing, faith, family, and the unexpected journey that led to Ebookannie Design, every chapter has shaped who I am today.
My husband and I owned and operated tennis facilities in Colorado, and we expanded into the international tennis industry and corporate opportunities. I grew up in a family of tennis players—city champions, Big Ten collegiate athletes, club owners, and tournament directors. My grandfather built the first clay courts in Indiana, and my aunt was a renowned U.S. Open and international official. Tennis was our life.

In 1975, I married my husband, a passionate player inducted into the Colorado Tennis Hall of Fame, named National Pro of the Year in 1998, and a former President and Master Pro of the USPTA. Together, we launched Thompson Enterprises, Inc., developing and operating multiple facilities, city-wide leagues, tournaments, and programs across the Denver-Metro area. The experience brought business acumen, compassion, international travel (including the U.S. Open and Wimbledon), and growth through digital communications, marketing, and entrepreneurship.
